   Agreed. There are a lot of rural areas that UPS or FedEx do not go to. Guess who does? The United States Postal Service. They end up carrying Amazon’s or whoever’s box the last mile. Do you think you’ll be able to send something from South Carolina to Idaho for the same as with the Post Office (cue: oh, but I only use the Internet, yadda, yadda, yadda.). You’ll be paying on a scale. Plus, I have heard from postal workers how they have checked on their older or disabled customers when their mail piles up. A lifesaving service. But let’s get rid of them because someone needs to make more money.
