The entire Trump era plays like a classic high school bully scenario. Bullies always have sycophants who suck up to them even as the bully repeatedly humiliates them.
If this cartoon were drawn accurately, the sycophant would be kneeling and kissing his “ring”. (For someone who would do that, I would spell it “psycho-phant”.)
Mike Pence said he couldn’t endorse Trump, but his reasons are that Trump isn’t “conservative enough.” You know he’ll vote for him anyway, because they know if Biden and the Democrats win their crime spree will be stopped.
Trump welcomed Putin to invade any NATO country that didn’t pay their dues even though there is no such thing. So If we withdraw, is he welcoming a first strike on the US?
GOP: grovelers, obstructionists, and perverts (Jim Jordon overlooking young men being sexually abused on his watch; Matt Gaetz; Brett Kavanaugh, and the serial rapist Donald Trump).
Trump demands immunity for ‘events that cross the line’ hours after ‘bloodbath’ comments
Hours after he set off a firestorm when he insisted during an Ohio rally there would be a “bloodbath” if he is not re-elected, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to post an all-caps rant demanding complete presidential immunity once again.
When did the Party of Lincoln, Eisenhower, and Reagan decide to become the party of whiney victimhood? It certainly is a distasteful spectacle.
Did you hear Trump promise political violence if he isn’t elected on Saturday? You have to wonder why a major American political party would want a candidate who is so weak that he has to resort to threats to get votes.
I wonder if there are enough Republicans left with the dignity and integrity to form a real conservative party to run against the one that is controlled by a criminal who has no actual commitment to any ideals other than his own benefit.
I would welcome a conservative party that could actually compete with the liberals without lying. That hasn’t happened in the entire time I have been politically aware, roughly 60 years. I don’t totally agree with a lot of liberal ideas- Actually, I am a Democrat by default, since there has never been another choice that research showed wasn’t lying to me. I would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party. I have never had that option and once I understand that I am being lied to, even if the person lying seems to believe what he is saying—- actually even more so if he seems to actually believe it, because that’s nuts, so I have always voted Democratic. Yeah, some of them lie, but I have never seen dishonesty in an actual Democratic party platform. The Republicans, when they bother to develop a platform base it on lies.
No self-respect in those who grovel to a man-child they KNOW is a lying, crooked, self-dealing, rapist, moron, likely suffering early dementia. How do they live with their pitiful selves?
Democrats – “Trust us. Not your lying eyes. Everything is fine”. Us – “Armed men robbed 13 people, shot a woman during Saturday robbery sprees: Chicago police”. Dems – “Move along. Nothing to see here. Crime is down”. Us – “Oh really”?
Well, everyone else covered the psycho-political front on this, so I’ll take this one: Two "T"s in politician? Really? Or am I missing a cultural reference of some sort?
So the headlines today say that Trump can’t come up with the $464,000,000 bond he needs to pay as a guarantee of his court appearance in his civil-fraud trial, since absolutely no finance company would take that kind of risk on somebody who (a) is probably guilty anyway and (b) has a long track record of stiffing creditors. Dare we hope that this means he’ll have to be taken into custody?
A popular way of describing the worshippers of Donald Trump, but really inappropriate. They are not committing mass suicide… at least not with their bodies.
