Like the old joke (no, not the fascist fern, a different old joke) : “My husband cheats on me so often I’m not even sure our last five kids are HIS!”

Now Bridget Ziegler, the group’s co-founder and a member of the Sarasota County School Board in Florida, is caught up in a sex scandal with her husband, Christian Ziegler, who has been accused of rape. He also happens to be chair of the Republican Party of Florida.

Bridget Ziegler told police that the woman who accused her husband of rape had a three-way sexual encounter with the couple last year, according to the the non-profit Florida Center for Government Accountability, which first reported the story. Christian Ziegler has denied the accusation and claims the encounter between him and the woman was consensual. Investigators recovered a videotape of the tryst. No charges have been filed.

Man I feel bad for the people in Sarasota County, having one Ziegler being an ex-repubba figurehead and the other a hypocritical school board member as well as being the home to New College which used to be place where students can go to and get a quality education from a top notch faculty, only to be undermined by Ronnie DeSatan who has replaced the board of trustees as well as the college president along with denying tenure to numerous faculty members for no reason except for petty retaliation as the school is transformed from a place where free and progressive thinking has been replaced by alt right fundamentalist BS! DeSatan made the students and faculty of this small and formerly high caliber liberal arts college pawns in his ego-maniacal thirst for power.

I do believe the term “republican” and “hypocrite” are now synonymous.
