If it was Armageddon, you probably wouldn’t know what time it is.

Parents pace and grumble? Often they pace because they want to go to bed NOW but not until they know their children are home safe. THAT is why and that they’re so inconsiderate about their parents waiting up on them….it is less about the worrying but the inconsiderate part. I remember myself when my boys were in their teens. I had to work in the morning and would like to have a full 8 hours of sleep, thank you.

Armageddon could be closer to your backyard than you think, Elly!

Wow! I know some parents are unreasonably strict when it comes to curfew, but come on!

Wow! A horrid, insufferable mom! What a scrumptiously scary cartoon for Halloween!

You don’t want to write a funny cartoon on today of all days!

I suppose Armageddon would arrive at midnight, Israel time, since that’s the promised land. Israel is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean time. And Ontario, Canada is 5 hours behind Greenwich.

So unfortunately in Ontario, Armageddon would have arrived at 5 PM not at 11 PM.

I would have thought the clocks would have stopped dead at 5 for Elly.

If a trick or treater came to my door at 11 pm, I would answer the door with my gun handy. As long as I have lived here, I have never had a trick or treater. We have a party for the kids at the town hall in a little town about twenty miles away and let the kids treat or treat there, only 97 people in that town, or should I say, township.

Really wondering why some people read this comic, based on their comments. Happy Halloween to the rest of us!

Ellie relax, there are no outhouses left for them to tip over, so all is good.

Good that John did not see Elizabeth come in. Otherwise he would steal her Halloween candy.

We’re talking about Cru-Elly here, EVERYTHING is the end of the world! One day, if she ever wants to see Heaven, maybe she should accept that she is NOT the ruler of the world!

Liz is right. If Ellie doesn’t trust her neighbors, she shouldn’t have let them go out in the first place.

Ellie’s just mad because it’s not as easy to swipe a bag of candy from Liz as it is from April.

The words used to spell the word “yell” are Y-E-L-L

Those same exact letters are needed to spell E-L-L-Y

In the words of Rod Serling “Coincidence? I think not.”

Elizabeth probably was wearing a slutty costume and had to change before coming home. That is why she is so late.

When I was a kid, we stayed out pretty late on Halloween…it was safe back then and there would be hundreds of kids running around on our street.

Out trick-or-treating at 11 o’clock and her costume is already off? Come on, Elizabeth. We know what you were doing.

If Elizabeth did better at school, she could have done this to dupe Elly:

    Phone rings

    Elly: “Hello?”

Candace{on phone}: “Hello Mrs. Patterson, this is Candace. May I please speak to Elizabeth?”

Elly: “Let me go get her..”

Elizabeth{on phone}: “That’s OK Mom, I picked up the phone in my room”.

    Elly: “OK”

Elly hangs up. Final scene shows Candace calling from a payphone. Elizabeth is standing next to her. Now that Elly is duped Elizabeth goes off to party with Candace.
