I might read SOME of that… if he wrote it so cleverly that it was funny. But that sort of thing works best if it’s one… short… chapter at a time.

I’m surprised she wasn’t chapter 1.

Fanfiction is driven by people writing for their own enjoyment. But rather than simply keep it on their own computer (where 98% of it belongs) they post it on the web and hope for nice comments. He’s clearly writing for his own enjoyment (since no publisher will be interested), but if he’s describing killing the people who ticked him off in novel ways there will be people who read it and post nice comments ’cause they love snuff fiction.

I thought the wife would be chapter one unless it was the mother-in-law.

This isn’t related to today’s comic, but I’ve always wondered about the image on Wiley’s page here – the guy surprised by his shadow. What’s the back story?

This is not the comic that appeared in my newspaper today (as you can see it’s from 2013). I think the actual one might be too controversial for gocomics. Anyone else have the same experience?

Why no one wants to publish Trump’s memoirs…

Nobody has any business writing their memoirs before the age of 70.

If his dishing book is a tell-all book about a celebrity, then just about everyone will want to read it. But, only about himself: maybe not.

Who’d want to read that? Apparently all those who read “Spare”.

After a lifetime of service as a judge, this is the first time he can throw his own book at everyone.

That formula apparently works for members of the royal family, but only because we know the cast of characters.

Married 30 years and this is the first time she’s criticized him?

Something has to be driving the self-publishing industry. :)

That is insiduosly clever, insightful, brilliant, can’t think of any more great adjectives, and the kidker is funny…

This isn’t the Wiley cartoon that appeared in the June 15, 2023, comics section of the LA Times. What did appear had the caption “On second thought…” What gives?

Obviously no problem with writer’s block here …
