You mean it didn’t occur to the Irish cop to offer free ice cream too?

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

There’s also the word “graffita”. graffita. feminine singular of graffito. That’s from some Italian dictionary that came up when I Googled it.

I’d think ice cream truck music might make some people more aggressive. They might’ve calmed them down quicker with some U2. They might be more universally adored in Ireland than a Good Humor Man jingle playing over and over and…

    Quentin Crisp Quote

“When I told the people of Northern Ireland that I was an atheist, a woman in the audience stood up and said, ‘Yes, but is it the God of the Catholics or the God of the Protestants in whom you don’t believe?”

The “police” in Northern Ireland were actually British Soldiers who ended up killing as many citizens as the IRA did. Read the book “Say Nothing”, about the troubles in Northern Ireland.

Wish they had thought of that, to play ice cream music, during the BLM riots of 2020.

In the comic strip, Jump Start, two of the lead characters, cops, drive a specially painted police ice cream truck about town to improve community/police relations. Maybe Memphis, Tennessee ought to try that.

I bet they were rioting because there aren’t any snakes in their country so they should figure out a way to provide Ireland with warm temperatures like Florida has and introduce several species of snakes slithering in the wild. That should cheer everyone up.

Best graffiti I ever saw was on a bathroom wall. For a bad time call Janet. Ironically, I was on a first date with a girl named Janet that was NOT going well. Since she had suggested the restaurant I couldn’t help but wonder if her last date hadn’t written it. If I’d had a marker I would’ve put Amen below it! First and last date rolled into one disaster…
