This time around networks are aided by cable news and the internet in magnifying and repeating every negative incident concerning the left, right, races, religions…prepackaged, manufactured hate for the masses.

About 8 years ago I was watching an interview on a live stream. Later that evening I watched NBC news air that interview, except NBC had taken the interview and did a “cut and paste” of what the person said to mean something totally different.

It was then I realized that the news is lying to us.

I was not the only person who noticed. Those who noticed have been aware of the propaganda, and those who have been fooled have been taken in by the propaganda.

It’s been going on for so long that those who have been taken in by the propaganda will never recover. That is how propaganda works.

I once wrote that we should be careful what to believe what something is taken out of context, but then I got a reply noting that I myself admitted that what I had written was literally “taken out of context”.

Re: the Republican position on not raising the national debt ceiling until the Dems cave in to their demands.

It is the official policy of the United States that we do not negotiate with terrorists and hostage-takers, lest we lend positive reinforcement to their despicable tactics. While that’s usually understood to apply to radical foreign groups like Al-Qaeda or ISIS, or common domestic kidnappers, the patriotic thing to do is to apply the exact same policy to the terrorists across the aisle in Congress.

What kind of compromise is possible with agents of dementia, death, and destruction, anyway? Settling for only weirdness, maiming, and damage? Hold out for sanity, health, and integrity!

And why is it that the Democrats who still controlled Congress for the last two months of 2022 didn’t themselves raise the debt ceiling when they had the chance? Did none of them at all foresee this coming?
