Do you mean women such as S Dakota governor Noem, who simply regurgitates MAGAt anti-choice rants?

Merrick Garland not getting confirmation hearings made the headlines, but McConnell refused hearings for any judicial appointments for 2 years. He gave tRump over 150 empty federal benches to fill with lackeys.

His district? You live in Cancun?

tRump wanted the trial delayed until the SCOTUS ruled on his immunity bid. 2 points:

It looks like he isn’t going to get it.

The events in question occurred when he was just candidate tRump, before the election. So even if he does get his immunity, it won’t be retroactive through his whole previous life.

As I understand the story, Hunter Biden, who lived (still lives?) in California, travelled to Delaware to take a laptop in for repairs. The owner/fixit (who was blind) saw unspecified criminal content. Somehow, the laptop (or was it just the hard drive?) came into the possession of Rudy Giuliani, and then the FBI. The Republicans in Congress made noises about it for years, saying this proved Joe Biden was criminally corrupt. But the only evidence they were able to produce were some nude photos, supposedly of Hunter Biden, which somehow came into the possession of MTG, who displays them with great relish.

    Is that about it?

They did vote as a block for Jeffries during the McCarthy circus and again during the Johnson circus. During the 14th McCarthy vote, when the freedom(sic) caucus was voting “present”, I had a vision of them all doing that. McCarthy would have lost those votes, the threshold would have been lowered to 208, Jeffries would have gotten his usual 212, and McCarthy would have gotten his usual 200. Game over.

It may not be so easy to dump Johnson. The Democrats, along with sane Republicans, can vote down MTG’s motion, thereby driving her bonkers. Um – more bonkers.

tRump did so well in 2020 because the RNC didn’t have primaries in many states; they just gave all the delegates to tRump.

David P said that the Enquirer “caught and killed” many stories with the end goal of benefitting the tRump campaign, at high cost. Doesn’t that make it campaign contributions? Is there a limit to how much he could spend that way?

I can’t imagine what Hamas was thinking when they attacked on Oct 7. How did they expect Israel to react? Did they expect to just run amok for a day, and that would be all?
