I like that Shluff has a monobrow in addition to being furry.

Fun fact: Shluff is Yiddish for “to take a nap.”

Well, our space adventures have as a goal that we are looking for intelligent life. Any species capable of warp drive- or whatever will actually achieve travel to this planet- may have checked us out for the same, and decided to give us at least a few thousand years and check back to see if we’ve made any progress.

It announced its name. Told us where its from. Issued a threat and announced its intentions. Then left.

Is this an homage to Jack Kirby’s work in the 60s?

I think I’ve seen this strip before. It’s not really political.

    “Where did he land?”

“Let’s see, somewhere in New York… Found it! We’ll get rid of him!”

“Right! We’ll Shluffle off! To Buffalo!”

It’s pretty amazing that he doesn’t need a spaceship of any kind.

Sort of like a big fat Superman.

This is a classic. I think my all time favorite TDB comic. I don’t recall where I first saw it but it was probably 25 years ago.
