In college, I had an art major roommate. She would never let me see her art and, at the time, I couldn’t understand why. As I’ve gotten older and somewhat wiser, I came to realize that her art was probably a reflection of who she was. Therefore, in her mind, if I didn’t like her art, it means I didn’t like her. I wish I could find her and tell her that I now understand.
