All is well; the tablets show a Cm (add9) chord on the screen. Now play it and hum along.
A tough piece to play on the guitar, but the way I play it, the bee is drunk.
A good description of your grand-daughter! It may hurt feelings but it’s the truth.
I played a different version as we stood with feet together and then the throw the knife within a foot from the foot (lol). At each throw, the loser would eventually spread his feet too far apart to stand. Sometimes I’d throw it to a tree—knowing my brother couldn’t reach the knife position.
That is the version I was trying to recall playing with bare feet. Thank you! Dirt poor took on a different meaning back then and I loved Mumbly-Peg or anything to do with knives.
John9, you held up your end of a promise and that is commendable! There is a special place for you in Paradise.
I get more of a kick from the comments than from the cartoon. And yes, I played the Apache game of spear (a wooden stick) and hoop. Loved playing throwing knives with my brother in just our bare feet. Forgot the name (Mumbly-peg?) but my mother didn’t care for it.
Now pay your fee and hop on out of there.
Had I been transferred to the 173th Airborne Brigade at Camp Darby I would have stayed in for 30 years.
One last time: I want a Gretsch Country Gentleman!
