Don’t things improve after 7pm when the grandkids arrive…. and nearly all is forgiven?

I don’t go to bars but I would go to granpa’s bar and grill.

Happiness is subjective and fleeting.

“Uh, 5 to 7 is two hours.”

Grand kids are where the grandparents get back at their kids for all the problems they gave them as children, add sugar, spin them up and send them home.

Generally offered by Grandpa starting with “Back in my day …”

They discount all drinks on their whine menu.

I suppose that is the time when we go from PTSD to Grandpa’s old stories.

You do not send grandchildren home all sugared up.

Wife and I were just starting out on one of our infrequent tent camping trips 50 years ago and we both remember a sign we saw on a really posh RV – Enjoying our money while we have it. Driver and passenger were gray-haired and in their 70’s. Had to admire their attitude.
