    back in the dark ages, before Detroit started bundling “extras”, my father almost bought a Nash station wagon on which the heater was optional. (the list of “options” ran on for almost 2 pages as I recall)

    One of the car companies want to have a scription service where to use certain items you have to pay for it. For example, heated seats only work as long as you subscribe.
