Second one of these in two days. And both were perfectly spot on. Six year olds having a tantrum and blaming the adults. Which would be funny except that they AREN’T six, and they ARE killing people. Fortunately, slightly more of their own kind, but too damn many of the rest of us too.

The horse complains loudly about being forced to drink from the trough of public safety.

But you know what they say, “You can lead a horse to reality, but you can’t make them remember how much better Biden is than the lying traitor who preceded him.”

There are still GULLibles claiming that the Fat Orange Clown cannot be criticized for the number of deaths in 2020 because “look at how many have died with Biden in office and we still have COVID”.

“Well, DUH.” (As we would say.)

    AND

“DOH!” (As they and their animated leader would say)

You really have to wonder about the Trump cult. Are they really that stupid, or do they think we are. You’d think they’d give it up about now. After all, they are about the only ones dying now.

I’ve had the thought, and others have vocalized it too. I think the big manly antivaxxers are just afraid of the little bitty needle that just pinches a bit when you get a vaccine. They are afraid of everything else, so it does make sense.

we’re culling the herd from the likes of degenerates of the MAGA species. Some how they slipped by Darwin. Why are these dumb bunnies always from the Southland? Perhaps Faulkner has the answers in the Snopes, a breed apart. They sure would recognize Trump as a kindred spirit.

They want to blame President Biden for inflation, too, when everything has been stopped for nearly two years. Now that demand is up and supplies are low, prices have risen. The supply chain has had serious damage. That is not the president’s fault.

    Not a new condition:

“The third and most significant source of pressures which discourage political courage in the conscientious Senator or Congressman … is the pressure of his constituency, the interest groups, the organized letter writers, the economic blocs and even the average voter. To cope with such pressures, to defy them or even to satisfy them, is a formidable task. All of us occasionally have the urge to follow the example of Congressman John Steven McGroarty of California, who wrote a constituent in 1934:

‘One of the countless drawbacks of being in Congress is that I am compelled to receive impertinent letters from a jackass like you in which you say I promised to have the Sierra Madre mountains reforested and I have been in Congress two months and haven’t done it. Will you please take two running jumps and go to hell.’”

—John F. Kennedy (1917-1963), 35th US president, Introduction to Pulitzer-winning Profiles in Courage (1956)

    @Montana Swill

How the hell can you NOT know that no president (or prime minister, or, for that matter, king or dictator) of any one country can control WORLD-WIDE inflation by himself, or solve WORLD-WIDE supply chain issues by himself? For God’s sake, Montana Swill, TRY to remember your grade school education. (Which, I have to assume, starts next week, right?)

I’m sure Mr. Trump would be as effective at stopping inflation as he was at stopping the Covid pandemic and the January 6 insurrection. After all, the former just went away in warmer weather and the latter were just a few misguided, badly behaved tourists. /s

Tried to arrange to get my covid booster shot. None of the local branches of my pharmacy have it. I would have to wait a week and drive 15 miles. I hope that situation improves.

Turned on the tv just after finding this out and Biden says, “Go get your booster shots NOW!!!” Yeah right.

Next Tuesday, Dec. 7, is the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, in which 2,403 Americans were killed. Due to COVID-19, we currently go thru that many in just under 3 days, and we’ve been doing that since January of 2020, when the president’s daily brief “concluded [coronavirus] could be a cataclysmic event.”
