and mad as a hatter be the Donald as well as the Ronald Reagan. The entire GOP insufferable in their longings to control the U.S. of A. Off with their ignominious heads
The one on the right brings to mind one of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s Letters From Prison about the danger of stupidity (which he saw as a sociological issue rather than an inherent quality). Worth the read.
There’s a reason we use the word “birdbrains” to describe a low, follow-the-leader-without-question mentality. And it is a birdbrain that lies under any Trump cap.
And worse—those birdbrains paid to advertise the fact!
We have to work to make the Red Hatted Fatorangeclown endangered and then extinct. Hopefully not later than 2024 before it mutates and adapts to infect the votes of too many.
Too many in the US do not have natural immunity. Scientists have to continue to try to find the origin of the Red Hat infection. Wuhan China or Moscow Russia?
Haven’t the right-wingers heard the stories about the orange blob ranting and throwing things at his staff in the Oval Office? That he spent most afternoons out on the golf course? That he spent most mornings sitting on a couch eating Big Macs while watching Fox News? His recorded and widely quoted rant about “why do we spend money on nuclear weapons if we aren’t going to use them”? His utter contempt for the emolument clauses in the Constitution? Anyone who pays attention knows that this orange crybaby is not fit to hold any office, even a small town council seat, never mind President of the United States.
We’re seeing too much of that face here and in news media. Media got him taken seriously in 2015 and got him elected in 2016; media created that loon and revels in that power. Shame.
Also shouldn’t give his smirking mug any free publicity unless it is to announce that he’s going to the slammer. But excellent cartoon, Mr. Bennett, as always.
Famous former neo-Nazi shifts focus: America is becoming ‘the skinhead’s dream of the 1990s’
I asked how he feels about America’s future, particularly Donald Trump’s apparent consolidation of power within the increasingly autocratic Republican Party, and Trump’s likely candidacy for the presidency in 2024. He said, “I’m terrified.”

The Redcap is a type of malevolent, murderous goblin found in Scottish Border folklore. He is said to inhabit ruined castles along the Anglo-Scottish border, especially those that were the scenes of tyranny or wicked deeds and is known for soaking his cap in the blood of his victims.
He is also known as Redcomb and Bloody Cap.
Ironic that a person whose Mother was born in Scotland never learned this part of his heritage.
