Yes, there is no law prohibiting a convicted felon from running for President. I imagine as in the past, when there was a bit or a helluva lot more sanity, no one would have thought of running with such a past nor would the public have put up with it, all in all it is a very sad commentary on the disintegration of the American fabric, ripped apart by greed, hate and mass stupidity.
