Wow! This guy is a real person! (Sorry, I didn’t know…)Stefan Fatsis is an author and journalist. He regularly appears as a guest on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered daily radio news program.
Reminded of the Everybody Loves Raymond where Robert’s girlfriend had just met the parents and tells Raymond, “They seem nice.” and Ray responded, “Yes, they seem nice.”
There’s a British comedian/author named Tony Hawks, always getting confused with the famous skateboarder Tony Hawk. But I don’t think that Tony Hawk would skateboard round Ireland with a fridge.
You know, the Pastis Insult trope gets cumulatively funnier over the years. Was there ever another cartoonist who skewered his own ego like this? The only one I can think of offhand would be Dave Berg of Mad Magazine.
Take a look at the media bias chart on Allsides.com. NPR news is rated as central and NPR opinion as left leaning. The WSJ is also rated central for news but their opinion is right leaning. Fox News is rated strongly right for both news and opinion and CNN and MSNBC are rated strongly left for both as well.

Rat has a point. Donald Duck shows some intelligence and self-control, unlike another well-known Donald.

Now can Rat explain why he was listening to something as liberal as NPR?
