Since I had no idea what this comic was about, and ya’ll were having such a fierce helium debate, I looked at the comic again and noticed the snowman’s first twig arm had floated away. Kudos to everyone who caught that on the first viewing.
Cursive writing: the bane of genealogists everywhere. My ancestors’ names have been spelled, or deciphered, so many ways due to the various census recorders.
During the years all my grandchildren lived far away, I became known [to some] as ‘California Grandma’. I no longer live there, but the name has stuck even though those grands now live back in SoCal. A few years ago, my closest [a mile away] began calling me ‘GramJams’ for some reason; I’m fortunate to have 8 fabulous grandkids. [I had only one living set of grandparents and a great-grandma who I don’t remember meeting.]
My boys still laugh about the time they set a fire in our backyard…..not as young as Shermy and CB appear but, nonetheless, it happened. And years later the Electric Co repair man really set fire to the backyard while I was at work.
