Wow Sally.

Even Calvin once thought of moving away to Canada… the territory of Yukon to be precise.

I got beaned with a hockey puck once. The next day my wife had our first kid.

And those things aren’t soft at all!

Ah, yes. The royal order of the unducked puck. It was a thing at one time.

The Canadian band Captain Tractor had a song called Frozen Puck to the Head. (Look it up on YouTube if you feel like it. This site won’t let me post YouTube links.)

Why Canada?

Is “eh” a question or a statement?

He’s going to camp, not getting drafted. Oh, wait…

Perhaps the Montreal Expos could help…

I seem to remember that Charlie Brown had a duffel bag whit him. So he has some clothes. He just needs some food. And for once Charlie Brown needs to figure out what is he going to do.

“Take off to the great white north. Take off. It’s a beauty way to go.”

Looks like Sally doesn’t give a puck.

That little blonde sure is a hurtful little…ummm…blonde.

I have observed that the same jokes Americans tell about Canadians, people from Holland tell about Belgians. Canadians/Belgians in these jokes are perceived as stupid or backwards. Could also have to do with the language. Canadians speak (some sort of) English, while Belgians (in the north part of the country) speak (some sort of) Dutch.

Too dang cold there.

Should have gone to Canada, in the future Jimmy Carter will pardon him.

You didn’t have to tell it like it is, Sally! But yeah, he is a massive failure.

I’ve been to Canada a couple of times. Nice little place. Wouldn’t recommend the bugs though. I got eaten alive by the skeeters while I was portaging. Looked like a walking measle head. People do like to hit each other with crooked sticks there so yeah I think Charlie Brown has a legitimate concern about the pucks. If the pucks don’t get you the people with crooked sticks will. I also liked watching the guys in the striped shirt and whistle try to stop people from hitting each other with those crooked sticks. If I was one of those guys with striped shirts I’d wear a whole lot more padding. eh!

Good idea Chuck. Considering that there is hockey currently being played-in frelling JULY.

Blame Canada…….

With his luck it probably would’ve happened.

Talk about a failure, Sally. Look in the mirror. Sign up not to go to summer camp when obviously YOU need it even more than your brother.

So, the Blockhead runs away with no food and just sits on the pitcher’s mound? How long till he dies of exposure or starves to death?

How far would that be? Anyone know if his city or state was ever referenced?

Perhaps he should go to a country where the national sport is played with a slaughtered goat

Getting hit by a puck is one of the requirements for Canadian citizenship.

A very real possibility. Although Canadians are very polite and would certainly apologize.

A hard talk between siblings. Relieved to see our hero back.

She is not a very nice person. What a rotten sister he wound up with.
