It’s not even THAT dark.

Jon’s probably not heard of night lamps.

Accidents will ALWAYS happen in the home.

Reminds me of a trip to the ER. I had stubbed my toe. The doctor treating me was Russian. He stared, and stared. He finally said, “What did you stub it with? I do not see stub hole. Did you stub it with a knife?” I had to explain “stub”to him.

Human toes can see (furniture) in the dark.

Thank you to all of the men and women fighting wildfires.

I stubbed my toes for years without any ill effects (other than the pain). Then I developed osteoporosis (yes, men get it too). So far three broken toes and counting. I don’t take my size 13 shoes off at the door, and I don’t care whose house it is.

And Jon’s gonna wind up in intensive care as usual.

Soon Jon’s going to be lack-toes intolerant

Seriously, those little things hurt like hell if you bump them, especially for a couple more days, if you have Hemophilia like me.

Turn the light on – open your eyes.

Put on slippers or shoes or concrete galoshes!

Something I heard Mark Lowry mention in the ’80s, “Toes are to help you find furniture in the dark.”

Is Jon part of that band … BOOM … CRASH … OPERA ?

Jon still has trouble finding his feet, leave alone his toes!

Oh yes that is so annoying

Somehow “OWW” does not feel adequate to encompass the grief.

The easiest solution to this is to remove all the furniture.

We see quite well in the dark…

That reminds me of the time that I accidentally banged my foot against our rocking chair and broke the toenail on my big toe. Also, you’re really enjoying Jon’s misery, aren’t you, Garfield?

yeah…my mother is a SPECIALIST OF THAT. we keep on telling her to wear steel toes shoes or stop trying to fight with the sofa and such. because she ALWAYS LOSES!

Toes don’t find furniture. Furniture finds toes.

As well as the shins…

I think MOST people know their own homes well enough to be able to navigate it in the dark without running into things.

Oh, Man that hurts. Little toe on corner of hardwood bed frame in the dark. Broken toe?

Donk ! OWW! Alexa turn on the lights.

When my boys were little, I went to clean off their trays and caught my pinky toe on one of the legs. dislocated that little bugger. Hurt really bad and I cussed up a blue streak.

We have night lights everywhere. We have dark cats: one tuxedo and one black cat, plus a lighter calico tabby Siamese (mutt) who thinks she’s a speed bump.

That’s why I wear house shoes!!
