All kids go through a phase of being little politicians (“What’s in it for ME?”). Some of them grow out of it. But at this age, it’s mostly cute… and a sign of intelligence.

Sounds like he really should write about himself – except that wouldn’t be wise.

If grandpa has any wisdom at all, he’d understand that Nelson did the right thing

Both my grandmothers spoke foreign languages (Finnish and an old Filipino dialect) so they must have been very wise. Besides they were able to raise their children in Finland and the Philippines during WWII.

I remember my grandmother marching into Walker the Weeper’s car lot, which advertised “We’ll trade for anything, even if it eats”, and offering the family dog, her teenaged daughter and her horse in exchange for a Camero.

Alas, Nelson has gone to the Dark Side – They had cookies.

That’s the way the cookie crumbles, Earl.
