Their arguing is mild compared to now days reality on a plane.

At this point, it would be necessary to explain that at one point back in the 1960s, when air travel was more pleasant and our culture was less politically correct, airline stewardesses were hot. Most stewardesses were young and single. In the media, they were often portrayed as both desirable and attainable.

If you’re old enough, you might remember the joke: A stewardess enters the cockpit of a commercial airplane and asks the pilot, “Coffee, tea or me?” The pilot says, “Whichever is easier to make.”

This is Lynn Johnston’s variation of that joke from the 1960s.

I have a piano that was my Grandmothers, over 120 years old, that I need to find a new home for. No one takes them any more. Maybe one of them would want it?

I would arbitrate by suggesting they agree to swap the organ from one to the other every year, drawing lots for firsties. The one getting the organ that year does the pickup. It also averts bitterness when the person who has it loses interest and the person who wants it just “sits on it.”

Sell the damn organ. It would serve you both right

They should at least wait and check if the organ still plays—that could make a difference in who still wants it and is willing to pay for the repairs.

Think they will take the hint?

I have a trip to New Orleans planned for November and I have a feeling that I won’t be able to relax for the whole flight due to having to be vigilant for some kind of bad behavior among the other passengers.

Elly is such a brat. She only wants the organ because she knows her brother wants it.

Sounds like they never grew up. Their folks should sell everything they aren’t going to keep… and spend the money on themselves. Greedy children deserve nothing.

There’s a perfectly good reason Phil should get the organ:PHIL IS A MUSICIAN, ELLY DOESN’T EVEN PLAY!
