No, I guess not. She’s hitting the sauce and apparently not enjoying it.

I am encouraged. I’ve seen the joy in everyday people just tasting the first few forays back to living.

True that. But it’s getting closer. In some places closer than others.

I went into the coffee shop and the deli today with no mask. But I had it in my hand just in case either place was crowded.

It might help if you try switching it up, Janis. Perhaps some of Diamond’s red.

    ———

Red red wine, you make me feel so fine

You keep me rockin’ all of the time

Red red wine, you make me feel so grand

I feel a million dollar when you’re just in my hand

Red red wine, you make me feel so sad

Any time I see you go, it make me feel bad

Red red wine, you make me feel so fine

Even though I’ve had the two shots, I’m waiting until July 4th to see if CV-19 cases are going up, down or staying low. There’s enough people out there that haven’t taken or won’t get the shot(s), who would still go maskless, and claim they did.

Just mainly worried of a CV-19 variant that could start this all over again.

the “normal” era has left the station, it will be many many years before this disease fades into obscurity and becomes another version of the flu. Remember, the Influenza pandemic of 1918/19 has not yet left the building. Rather, it has evolved but still kills thousands of people every year. And, despite the fact that a vaccine exists, it has to be updated every year.

Panel 4 is very artfully drawn. Janis appears to be both furtive and guilty, a closet alcoholic? Who knew?

What are we going to use as the baseline for so-called normal? 2019? I hope not. 2015? Not such a great candidate either. No good candidate comes to mind. The Era of Good Feelings? 200 years ago.

here in Canada, we have one shot, still wearing masks and would not go without it. Normalcy is still way off in the distance. there will be other strains.

I hear that the U.S. department of defense is in possession of anti-gravity technology, but they’re not releasing it because of the devastating impact it would have on Big Oil. And the mainstream media is not reporting this. Sheeple need to wake up. FW:FW:FW: 11!!!

We need revenge on China for releasing Covid into the wild. We should deport the President and Congress forever and exile them to China. That’ll do the job nicely.

I had a real Happy Hour with my best friend (both of us fully vaxxed) this week. We had been doing Skype happy hours every couple of weeks. It was great to be in person. We sat outside and had some great tacos.

Maybe Janis is confused listening to Dr. Fauci. No need to wear a mask, then you need to wear a mask, babies do not contract COVID, then babies died of COVID virus. The virus will die out in the summer of 2020, sunlight and heat will kill the virus…..COVID spiked in the summer of 2020. Once you get the shots, you should be safe…..now he is pushing a booster shot in the future. COVID was a source of Bats, Monkeys, & food in China markets, it was not created in China in a lab……now well it may have been a creation in a lab in China. Best yet is….Dr Fauci said he made no contribution to the lab in China….well maybe he did make a donation.

The old normal is dead. With at least 40% of the population refusing vaccines means it will be worse than it has to be.

A couple of days after our state said this, we had to go out for some purchases (we go out less than once week lately, less than once a month before that). We are still wearing masks and intend to do so for awhile even though both fully vaccinated and more than a month has passed since second vaccination. Quite frankly we think the honor system idea is a joke – we know a number of people who will not be wearing masks and will not be getting vaccinations as it is all a joke to them, and they will not wearing masks if anyone is excused from mask wearing and proof is not needed. (They could not understand why a group we all belong to cannot have events with the public without masks even at the height of the pandemic.)

That said on the mentioned trip out we were extremely happy to notice that almost all people were still wearing their masks. In our state local governments and businesses can require masks and it may be that these stores were still requiring them – but no one seemed to be giving a hard time over mask wearing.
