    Bear in mind, that’s going to alter the aerodynamic properties of the boulder. Depending on how the bucket’s threaded, it might impart a curve to the trajectory and you’ll want to take that into account along with launch angle and distance.

    How many times do I have to tell you? Catapults are anti-personnel weapons. Trebuchets are siege weapons. Peter Jackson got that wrong in LotR.
