Strega

P51Strega Free

I am a fan of the Air Races in Reno Nevada; particularly the Unlimited Class. My favorites are the modified F8F Bearcat "Rare Bear" and the modified P-51 Mustang "Strega" from which I took my user name.

There were some nice cereal box prizes in the 90’s too. My daughter got a CD with “Amazon Trail” from one box and a CD with “Oregon Trail” from a later one. They were pretty good games and (don’t tell her) quite educational. It must have inspired her, two years ago she went to the Amazon and then to the Inca trail.

Thank you for catching that, I’d left off the “%”. Flu mortality rate that I last saw was 0.02%. You will see that I removed the original post and fixed it.

@uniquenameI’ve read several scientific reports and the most optimistic have the death rate at 10x the flu (0.02%/case). That death rate is dependent on swift action to mitigate the gap between ICU beds (and related equipment) and the number of people needing them. Without the current sequestering, the rate at which the need for medical equipment and personnel will outstrip capacity may lead to a death rate 200x the rate for the flu.

Good idea, I think my dog might be tall enough to clip it to his collar. LOL

Thank you for your EMT work. Stay safe.

Definitely one of the best. I was particularly fond of several early arcs following then-current SciFi movie releases.

I’m a dog owner, and I am with you on this. I always hope we can have a walk without her pooping (I do hate carrying it) or that she’ll do it by the woods at the end of the street. But when she dumps on someone’s lawn, we pick it up and carry it off.
