The “bit.ly” address is real – you can bid on an actual NFT of Uncle Cap’N.

Actually, the universe’s expansion is accelerating, not decelerating. But maybe it is still Boswell’s doing, after all. Just what breed of dog is Boswell, anyway? Is he perhaps classified as “Dark Energy”?

I hope the League of Universally Miscalled Characters takes off. I want to see what happens when he learns that guy from the computer game isn’t actually named Zelda.

Lets see, if I understand correctly the blockchain operation should prevent one person from selling an exact copy since the point of the system is to ensure you can’t double spend electronic currency. The artist could alter one bit though and sell that new copy. So, you’ve got numbered prints at least.

Had to look it up, the rat’s name is Remy. Meanwhile, the recipe – https://tudza.org/20160706.htm

Shouldn’t the culinary mouse in the first strip be called Ratafoodie?

The shark’s unofficial name was “Bruce”, the Frankenstein creature’s name was “Adam”, and Remy is the rat from Ratatouille.

I would like to believe that somewhere in the vastness of the universe there exists a Boltzmann Brain copy of me that is happy.

It’s just “capitol,” NOT “capitol building.” “Capitol” MEANS “building.” It’s like saying “dead corpse,” or “PIN number” (Personal Identification Number Number)," or “ATM Machine (Automatic Teller Machine Machine).” We parrot nonsense routinely.

After all these years, I finally discover that a ‘Boltzmann Brain’ is what I wanted to be when I grew up.

Funny thing about the recycled use of the word “woke”. We used in the same context around 45 years ago.

Any entities we meet that fit the moniker of “GOD” could be said Boltzmann brains with their own backstory that they formed the universe where as the reality is the universe formed them.

Excellent point about NFTs. I keep seeing news stories about them where no one involved seems to know that NFTs don’t include the content (art, music, or whatever), they just point to those things someone out on the Internet, and those can change or simply vanish.

I liked “Boltzmann Brain” better the first time, when it was called “Brain in a Vat.”
