Saw an article today that says he’s lost like $billion or so during the pandemic: Real estate doesn’t do so well when folks are staying home… Anyway, maybe THAT explains not only why he tried to ignore it, but why he’s working so hard to shift the blame. And of course, he’s the king of those who need someone to hate. Gotta keep the base happy. Or is that “angry”? Or both?

Hate runs in cycles; it goes underground for awhile, until leaders emerge who subscribe to the same hate theories. The cycles are getting a lot shorter, though. The parallels between January 6 and events in pre-Nazi Germany are truly frightening…

If Trump says so, it must be true; 47% of voters think so, anyway. Maybe there is a crisis in this country, one that nobody mentions, one of ignorance and gullibility.

‘A proctological exam of the highest order’: Trump investigations really may be different this time.

Until recently, “at his level, there was no such thing as being in ‘legal trouble,’ in the way that ordinary people think about it,” said Michael D’Antonio, who wrote a 2015 biography of Trump. He said Trump usually had something he could hold over the head of his opponents: withholding donations, bad press or a messy countersuit.

Today, D’Antonio said, in the urban and liberal jurisdictions where Trump is facing the most peril, “nobody needs him now.”

“What does he have to offer anybody? And in fact there’s every incentive to crush him,” D’Antonio said.

Ooh, I like the sound of that. Especially the word “crush.” And the way it’s juxtaposed so tantalizingly with the pronoun “him.”

But that’s not all! What say you, Michael Cohen, former Trump fixer and confidant?

Cohen has spoken with Vance’s investigators seven times — with an eighth planned on Friday, according to a person familiar with the investigation. Searching for a more urgent metaphor, he called Vance’s inquiry “a proctological exam of the highest order.” Cohen has his own pending lawsuit against Trump, alleging that Trump owes him $3 million for legal bills.

Plus he has a sh*tload of legal problems on top of his financial problems. This makes me gleeful when I think of it. Mostly I pay attention to 100 million doses reached today (3/19/2021) ahead of schedule. The relief offered by the $1.9T relief bill. The republicans working to destroy any and all equality and equity for American citizens because they are afraid of “not-white, not male, not white supremacists.”

We should change the name of this country to “The States”. We’re definitely not united any more. One of our 2 major parties doesn’t even believe in Democracy anymore.

Coronavirus happened to originate in China, but dealing with it after it came to America was the responsibility of the guy sitting at the desk where the buck stops. And how did he do? He must be so proud, because every day his actions have led to another …

New World Record in Ball Dropping

2020-01-07 • Presidential Daily Brief: “Analysts concluded [coronavirus] could be a cataclysmic event.” • Trump did nothing.

2020-03-11 • World Health Organization declares a global pandemic.

2020-04-15 • While continuing to lie about the pandemic, Trump suspends US funding for WHO.

2021-03-19 • US coronavirus deaths: 552,556 (62 weeks after PDB; 8912/week; 4% of the world’s population; 26% of its COVID deaths)

     For comparison …

    1941-12-07 • Pearl Harbor attack: 2,403

2001-09-11 • terrorist attacks: 2,977 (5 weeks after PDB warned Bush about it)

    Korean War (33,686) + Vietnam War (58,220) + Afghan War (7,970): 99,876

    WW1: 116,516 (83 weeks for US; 1403/week)

    WW2: 418,500 (195 weeks for US; 2146/week)

    Civil War: ~620,000 (213 weeks; 2911/week)

    Spanish flu: ~675,000 (~117 weeks; 5769/week)

he White House’s National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense mission was the established by the Obama administration after the Ebola epidemic of 2014: to do everything possible within the vast powers and resources of the U.S. government to prepare for the next disease outbreak and prevent it from becoming an epidemic or pandemic. They set up clinics to monitor 15 places that were considered “hot spots”- including 44 people in a clinic in the Chinese province where Trump’s plague began. The plan was to was to immediately send in enough people to track and treat so that it was shut down at the source. In 2018, Trump’s administration defunded the office, shutting down the clinics.. It’s impossible to assess the full impact of this decision, but it is quite likely that it would have stopped the pandemic while it was still in China. So there is an easy answer for what to call it, and Trump even likes naming things after himself.

I can’t stand Trump, but you know who I despise much more? I despise people who abuse helpless people and animals. I despise sex traffickers and child molesters and pornographers. These kinds of people have done much more damage to many more people for a lot longer than Trump has, and I’d like to see more rage against those scums of the earth. Trump will eventually fade from view (soon, I hope), but these vile people will continue with their mental and physical destruction of the helpless and voiceless. If those of you who hate Trump so much would take a few minutes divert that hatred and write your Congressperson and demand harsher punishment for the people I mentioned, and demand more money to hire more police to root out these evil people, maybe we could start ridding the Earth of them. After you’ve done that, you can get back to Trump.

If we could find anyway to stop attacks on Asians ? Maybe Rev. Al could talk to his people and ask real nice for them to stand back and standby. Just why do so many African Americans feel the need to attack Asians on the street ? Success Envy ?

Actually, almost from the start (March, 2020) I have been referring to the covid 19 corona virus as the Trump Virus, mainly because Trump’s abject failure to do ANYTHING during the month to first six weeks after it was known to have arrived, Trump was almost singlehandedly responsible for it gaining a strong foothold in this country.

And his abysmal response to it makes Trump almost single-handedly responsible for the vast majority of the more than 500,000 deaths attributed to it so far – the total lack of competency of ANYBODY in the White House is solely responsible for most of the deaths in this country – so it truly IS the Trump Virus and is so aptly named!

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago partially closed due to COVID outbreak

Former President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida, club has been partially closed because of a COVID-19 outbreak.

That’s according to several people familiar with the situation, including a club member who received a phone call informing them about the closure Friday. A receptionist at the Mar-a-Lago club confirmed the news, saying it was closed until further notice, but declined to comment further.

A person familiar with club operations said that, out of an abundance of caution, they had “partially closed” a “section of the club” for a short period of time and quarantined some of its workers.
