Actually that’s the orange mistake’s style. The GQP not quite so much. They’re all about increasing the disparity in wealth between the top 1000 people and all the rest of us; and winning.

They would certainly be the first off the ship. Funny how they still protect the twice impeached treasonous sleazeweasel. Gee, I think I am getting repetitive.

After trump university, trump casino, etc., etc, you would have thought the Republicans would have seen disaster coming.

Shamefully many Republicans would rather “go down with the ship” than live in a world where everyone is treated equally. If they can’t “feel superior”…..they just can’t stand it!

I’m surprised he let anyone else in the boat! He cares not for anything other than himself.

Unless it’s something a Democrat might have done, then it’s waste as much taxpayer monies as possible on a barrage of bullshit “investigations” that produce ZERO results…. Hypocrisy all the GOP has left.

The red states’ REpubelican Committees are busy now tossing overboard some reps and Senators whose vote they disliked, and will then return to organizing the deck chairs. May their ship of Fascism settle at the deepest depths and not be found for 100 years.

Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley are still on board.

The Republican ship is not sinking. Republicans could easily control Congress in two years, block all progressive legislation, and get a Republican elected Pres. in 2024.

There’s no name on the ship. Is it America? Our integrity? Our veil of racial tolerance? What?

The U.S.S. America hit its iceberg five years ago and has been slowly sinking ever since. Ted Cruz grabbed a lifeboat all to himself, since nobody wanted to share it with him.

That’s a mighty big swamp. Have fun.

The 0.01% worldwide have their way with power-hungry politicians. The protections that the founders put in place were easily overridden as we succumbed to easily-manipulated party politics. Both parties have had a turn at being self-serving. The wealthy with the help of a hand-picked SCOTUS has turned [through Citizen’s United] the federal government into a rich man’s game.

We are at a critical point where the world’s demographics are changing and one faction [worldwide] does not want to let go of the past and treat everyone equally. We see this in Brexit in the UK and in the neo-confederacy movement in the US. Who will go down with the ship and who will survive is a question of conscience. We know what the right moral thing to do is from religion and the Constitution and its Amendments. Will we do the right thing?

Republican administrations always leave us with a huge mess. The Dems get in and clean it up, and then for some weird reason, voters put the GOP back in and the cycle starts all over again.

Those who keep drinking the tRump koolaid don’t deserve a lifeboat

That sinking ship is not the GOP – it’s the U.S.A. – torpedoed by 43 gutless quislings who could have finished Trump, but chose to shame us before the world. The GOP lives to torpedo the Biden Admin. at the first opportunity.

They talk about a cat having 9 lives.. Got to hand it to trump, he gets bailed out over and over.. and over. Banks kept supporting him long after he was a risk.. and now, even riskier.. the Senate and the Republican party is doing the same.

The musicians on the Titanic played “Nearer My God To Thee”, The USS Trump played a recording of “Y.M.C.A.” while it sank without knowing anything about the song or the icebergs of hate and division ahead. The unsinkable ship was guaranteed to Make America Great Again in record time with Trump at the helm. . . . . /S

That shining beacon of democracy that old Ronny Reagan talked about is now a burnt out light bulb in the landfill after 43 Republicans ignored their sacred oaths on 13 Feb. The moral authority that this Nation once cherished has been flushed, not Donny’s 15 times, but 43 times by the Republicans. The carnage promised by Trump on 20 Jan. 2017 rolls on.

The GOP: mutiny over unity…

There’s a book called Sky Island, written by L. Frank Baum, the author of the Oz books, in which the queen is required to live at poverty level while her subjects thrive. This might be something that could be tried with elected individuals in this country, so that they could be more in tune with how REAL people live.

Republicans aren’t a party, they are a mob of autocratic anger addicts.

They want to destroy the USA so they can have a dictatorship.

The Republican party deserves this fate for allowing tRump to be their standard-bearer.

RepubliQterrorists are enjoying themselves at the aft poop deck because it’s just the bow of their ship is sinking.

That elephant may have commandeered that lifeboat, but he is willing to tether it to the sinking ship so it will drag him under…

It may be low in the water, but the very rich and special interest groups will pump in a few billion dollars in campaign funds, and soon as good as new.

Too bad for the Republicans that there is only one ship they can sink.

Of course the GOP saw disaster coming. Did they care? No. They saw a chance to lower taxes in the wealthiest and on corporations. They always leave a big mess for the Democrats to clean up.

I’m surprised that Montana Swill didn’t advance the theory that it was a Jewish space laser operated by lizard people that sank that ship………..

How? How do they ‘move on’? 70% of their own still support Trump. there is no moving on.

They’re not far enough from the ship – they’ll get pulled in as the ship submerges. tRump** takes all his minions down with him.

Just what is sinking? Who is that elephant in the life boat? He certainly hasn’t moved on from Drumpf. The best thing would be a party split, but that would divide the base and doom both sects. Like Cruz, Graham, Paul, et. al., they will find a way to swallow their dignity and regroup.
