The sound that makes me giggle every time is my text message notification. I have it set to as George Takei’s trademark baritone “Oh myyy!”. The timing is often priceless… I love when it goes off during staff meetings.
Back in the 50s when I was in grade school, my Dad installed an ooga horn in his truck. Whenever he needed to gather us in from playing in the park he would hit that horn. I loved that horn, and whenever I hear one (even just virtually in a comic strip) I think of him.
Every new invention that isn’t really brand new, needs a hook. I mean really, did the Motorola phone really need to look like a Star Trek communicator?
Back in the ‘90s my Sister’s boss, was hoping he’d get a new sound system for Christmas. When asked what kind, he said, “One with lots of flashing lights.” So to this day when someone, (usually the men) want some new piece of tech (WANT not NEED), we always add, “With lots of flashing lights”.
Well, I did type a comment that started “at least he doesn’t” and then deleted it. Realized that I was over-sharing and revealing much too much about my husband’s behavior.
That would really be a cool addition to let you know your coffee is ready. Better still your machine could have an app that allows you to changy the sounds to suit your needs…
This means they have a writer and an inventor in the house – now if Katy can do the marketing, this could get her a hefty college fund and eventually a pony.

Adam really needs to grow up. I do not understand why his wife puts up with him.

The horn alone would wake you up
The question is, does it make good coffee?

That makes two of us, Adam! I am more of a tea guy, but that made me giggle out loud too!

It’s not an ooga horn. It’s called a klaxon; you’ve most likely heard it in Navy war movies. It’s used as the Dive alarm.
