One time my state Florida got three governors in 23 hours.

    What’s a video doorbell?

May the Lord be with you.

How recent was the story about Marshall of Spokane? My step-aunt’s family (my stepmother’s sister) had just moved to Salem, Oregon.

The Columbian wall of art could’ve been called ‘Up on mom’s refrigerator…’

Eight miles wide? How long is the wall? My fence is 150 ft long, but only 4 inches wide.

The 8 mile long mural in Columbia tells a story of how people lived and hunted. It was created about 11,000 years ago. I think it is more like the 230 foot long, 20 inches high tapestry in Bayeux France that was created around 1070 AD that tells the story of the Norman conquest of England because of the linear structure of the art. If Michelangelo had made a 600 foot long, 20 foot high work of art that started with the Creation and went on to illustrate the story in the bible in a linear fashion, then one might say that the Columbia artwork is the Sistine Chapel of the ancients. If you ever go to northern France, the Bayeux Tapestry is something to see.

Obviously the archeologists exaggerated the “nearly inaccessible” part.

COVID had nothing to do with it.

Tall puppy? Lowered the bell? Used a step stool? Tall tail

The wall of art is interesting, but a bunch of squares hardly compares to the Sistine Chapel.

The shortest term occurred on March 16 and 17, 1905, when the state had three governors in the span of 24 hours: Alva Adams won the election, but soon after he took office, the legislature declared his opponent, James Hamilton Peabody, governor, but on the condition that he immediately resign, so that his lieutenant governor, Jesse McDonald, could be governor. Thus, Peabody served less than a day as governor.
