Hey, that’s right. Weren’t we suppose to have instantly re-hydrated pizzas by now?

In 2015 I went into several shoe stores asking to see their sneakers with the power-up laces. The Millennials manning the stores had no idea what I was talking about.

This pizza thing will be the downfall of the Awsome-Net.

Think of all the pushers who’d be put out of work if junkies could just reach in their screen and pull out a fix? The economy would collapse.

Did we really need to cut away from the medical implications of this (absurd) idea to go back to Adam fixating on food? It makes him look… I was going to say shallow, but even shallow has more depth than this gave him.

There’s just one big issue that Clayton must overcome, and that he would need to learn the science of how to make his “Awesome-Net” into a reality.

It reminds me of the fact that a lot of our powerful computing powers, sharing ability and graphic displays came about because smart guys wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons on their computers.

When I was around 7 years old (that would be 1957) in my mind I invented a shoebox with pictures inside of anything I could ever want and all I had to do was take the picture out and say the magic word and there it was!

This could lead to some very interesting developments if the awesome-net contains adult sites

Unless their “screen food” also tastes good AND has, let’s say 1/4 the calories. I’m not interested.

Sorry Clayton, your idea was already spelled out in Neil Stephenson’s 1995 book “The Diamond Age: Or, A Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer”. And no, in that story, the world economy didn’t collapse.

If he had a mansion, he could already have all the food he ever wants at the ready. I’m so tired of seeing celebs posting photos of their various refrigerators on social media. A fridge for drinks, a fridge for fresh foods (veggies and fruits), a fridge for alcoholic beverages, a fridge for “regular” foods, a couple of deep freezers, a “regular” walk-in freezer, a freezer on top of one of their “regular” fridges, etc.

    Doesn’t include their various pantries.

And here I am, in a family of 3 surviving with 1 fridge, 1 freezer, and no pantry – just kitchen cabinets.

    I definitely need Clayton’s invention!
