I’ve been retired for 3 weeks now, and already put on 5 pounds! Sigh! Cold weather keeps me from going on my long walks. I get bored with the treadmill and elliptical and I don’t want to go to the gym because of Covid.

I have a friend who was hospitalized with Covid, and he lost 30 pounds – so it’s good to be a bit overweight just in case you end up like him.

Most Americans are well on their way to that. I know I am.
