This looks like she’s been dead for a while…

A muzzle?? So she HAS transformed already…

Jeez. Mr. Neathery once again provides a really creepy image. Looks like Amesworth hasn’t been herself for a while.

Wow! Do they all look like that inside their suits?

About one second before it busts out of that suit and starts trying to tear everything around it apart. (Amesworth is dead, long live the Eat Beast.) Hope they kept the blaster.

We’ve never really seen a topsider outside of their suit until they have changed. This may be the true image of topsiders inside of the biosuit. She isn’t transforming since they are outside of the matrix.

I think she’s turned into the character that went insane and burned that town. The muzzle reminds me of him. Hope I’m wrong

After looking at Psyphus’s link I’m not so sure that’s a muzzle as much as a really weathered leathery looking nose and mouth full of jacked up rotting teeth?

Amesworth is on an extremely small patch of reality. And it’s shrinking.

I think the shape of the shadow in the eyes indicates batsh!t crazy.

Wally is safe from the crazies because he hangs onto his humanity with an iron grasp.

Those two words were a real mouthful… a mouth full of ugly…

Wearing the suits could have side effects that might go undetected since the suits present to the wearer images of what the other topsiders are supposed to look like.

Perhaps traveling through all those gates has detrimental effects?

Neathery keeps us guessing, guessing and guessing…

We all know that mutation induces insanity, but what happens when a person mutates that’s already insane like the Topsider here????

This may be just a part of transformation. All the different realities of her self crashing in the suit until stability is reached. Remember the infinite probability drive ship…..every time they engaged the drive it changed them….leaving them with after effects until the reality stabilized. One can hope she survives..the again maybe not…..after all….she was never in Cardoodles.

Maybe she always could.

She looks dead, yet not. Lipless mouth, rotted teeth, what may be a collapsed nose devoid of cartilage…is that suit keeping them alive? How do they eat through that suit, or anything else for that matter? What does being sealed away like that over the long term do?

Doesn’t Amesworth pre-date The War (Amesworth Radiation definitely does)?

I see it now. Dr. Amesworth was developing Amesworth radiation as an easy cleaning process for sensitive teeth and things went horribly wrong. Just a reminder to all of us of the importance of good dental hygiene.

Was anyone expecting a pretty lady to emerge from the suit? The nice slim shapely figure would seem to have indicated this.

At least, if she has some tentacles, but it looks more like multiple legs, at least she can scratch her nose inside that suit.

the twist is either she mutated long ago and has just been wearing the gear so nobody suspects her, or she’s been dead a long time and some multiverse element has been keeping her corpse moving…

Am I wrong, or did Flask have a badly damaged face when she “died” (or not)…..?

(I realize it Dr. Amesworth, but maybe a strange connection).

That is pure nightmare fuel there. What hellish existence must the Topsiders lead trapped in those suits?

Now for the serious questions, like did she already know and was relying on the suit to hide this fact, and how long has she been transformed.

If your teeth and skin are decaying under that suit, you would be in constant pain from the atrophy.

The unveiling ain’t ah gonna be pretty.

Now we know how Ravenscroft was able to obtain his gloves and goggles from the otherwise impenetrable biosuit.

Whatever it is, at least it still fits inside a human-shaped/sized suit…

Yeah, i think that’s her real face. She might be dark-complected, but the rotten teeth leave me with little doubt that this is what topsiders really look like. How would you see a dentist when you can’t leave your suit? How would you clean yourself? I don’t even know what they eat (paste thru feeding tubes maybe?) You don’t need teeth if you never eat solids.

Remember that there’s no reason to assume that in an alternate reality the “humans” look like us.

I thought for sure there would be an update today. Super Cliff Hanger! :^)
