Don’t need a vaccine. COVID-19 is: 1. It’s a demoncrats hoax, 2. Eliminating testing will make it go away. 3. It will disappear, like a miracle. The only thing more deadly and pathetic than the Death Cheeto who uttered this total rubbish are the MAGATS who believe him.
The last few weeks of each election year usually has a ton of flashy, full color brochures extolling one candidate or another for various offices stuffed in our mailboxes.
I hope this year they don’t impact mail-in ballot deliveries, given the challenges our beleaguered postal service are suffering under our corrupt postmaster general.
March 2021 in spite of Trump promising us a miracle cure next week for every week since he finally admitted that it wasn’t going to go away on its own next week for every week …
Trump says there will be a vaccine by the end of the year. So, look for a vaccine in 2027. But hey, the mypillow guy is pushing oleander extract as a cure and Trump wants the FDA to approve its use, so it’s all good.
Science is kind of funny that way. It doesn’t live by politics and a vaccine will be developed when it’s developed. After extensive research and then testing according to medical protocols.
Putin has already pushed approval of a vaccine through in Russia.
So look for Trump to insist that the FDA shortcut the normal procedure and prematurely approve a vaccine before Nov 2 this year.
The fact that doing so would endanger the lives and health of US citizens is of no concern to him – Trump only cares about Trump – and he knows that loosing the election is a one way ticket to prison.
Trump’s plague isn’t going to magically disappear when Biden takes office. It is out of control and we can only wear our masks, stay away from other people and hope for a cure. The way to make a plague disappear is to never let it get out of control in the first place. In 2017, the White House’s National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense mission was the same as when the Obama administration established it after the Ebola epidemic of 2014: to do everything possible within the vast powers and resources of the U.S. government to prepare for the next disease outbreak and prevent it from becoming an epidemic or pandemic. One year later, Trump’s administration dissolved the office, leaving the country less prepared for pandemics like covid-19. The U.S. government’s slow and inadequate response to the new coronavirus underscores the need for organized, accountable leadership to prepare for and respond to pandemic threats. In a health security crisis, speed is essential. The job of a White House pandemics office would have been to get ahead: to accelerate the response, empower experts, anticipate failures, and act quickly and transparently to solve problems. It’s impossible to assess the full impact of the 2018 decision to disband the White House office responsible for this work, but it is clear that eliminating the office has contributed to the federal government’s sluggish domestic response. So, don’t vote Blue to control this pandemic. Vote Blue because the next one is coming, and Republicans have given us ample proof that they aren’t good at that sort of thing.
Oh, yeah! Vlad Putin says he’ll ship tons of his patented RU-19 Vaccine anywhere in the world. Vlad says his vaccine has been fully tested on “volunteer” Gulag residents.
I think Trump should take the Putin and the MyPillow guy vaccine together with Hydroxy/Clorox cocktail. Then we can see what happens. Maybe it works, maybe not. Maybe bad side effects, possibly, maybe not, maybe so. Oh well, we’ll see.
When they do finally have a vaccine, I just hope it’s effective, and it doesn’t have any horrendous side effects. I don’t mind temporary headaches or upset stomach, but permanent damage—including death—just isn’t going to work for me.
I don’t mind when politicians play with my money and doctors play with my life, but when they don’t stay in their lane…that gets me worried. At least MN gov reverses course on HCQ so he’s getting back in his lane.
Republicans kicked the debt up to 9 trillion and we don’t even have covid testing and tracing to show for it. Immoral and disgraceful, we have the worst case of covid in the due due to anti science republican mismanagement and lack of caring for humanity.

Do you mean the one made from disinfectant or the one made from hydroxychloroquine? And then there is one made from hamberders, covfefe and alien DNA.

Do you see the mailman yet? He said he’d try to sneak our ballots out wrapped in the junk mail.
