Who would have ever guessed that partisanship would get so contentious that the needless deaths of so many could be ignored to remain loyal supporters of a flakey political policy?
The stench of decay is coming from all over the government, and not just in D.C.. Bonespurs and company are determined to make Norquist’s vision reality.
The White House announced they developed their own game plan for dealing with pandemics. It seems to be the same game plan as for everything else: make things up as you go along, tell as many lies as possible, deflect, blame Obama. Then golf and campaign rallies.
Trump said yesterday, “When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn’t do any testing we would have very few cases.” Suggesting that doing testing is bad because you find cases. Well, I say, lead by example. Stop testing in the White House, show us you don’t care about those possible flu carriers around you. Because they aren’t really sick if they haven’t been tested positive.
They’ve got the Lie Machine cranked up to eleven already. Every Republican candidate in my area is pushing that BLAME COMMUNIST CHINA button HARD. They are literally using the SAME LINES in all their TV ads. And, it’s heartbreaking how many suckers are gonna believe ’em . . .
Considering reeking dumpsters, compared to Obama, Loser PяesiDuиce Tяцmp☠ is nothing whatever more than a leaking garbage bag stuffed with (Russian?) money.
First of all, keep right on rhyming! Makes my days brighter when I read your posts. Second of all, I read an interesting article recently, written by a lifelong stutterer. People who stutter have a sense of “danger words” or at least a sense of words that would be dangerous at that moment, and therefore instinctively substitute other words at the last moment. This, the author conjectures, can go far to explaining many of Biden’s “gaffes.” I don’t know if that’s the case or not, and Biden was never my first (or second or third) choice. Neither was Sanders—in fact, why a political party lets a person who is NOT a member of that party run for its presidential nominee baffled me four years ago and baffles me now. But pretty much anybody is better than Soylent Orange.
Here’s an article which notes that it’s the TRUMPISTS who should panic: – - – “…Democrats, however, should take heart from the fact that it is Trump himself who is, day in and day out, making the best case for Biden’s election. The biggest imperative for Biden is to offer voters a sense of what it would be like to be free of the incoherence and narcissism that are making this, the biggest crisis of our lifetimes, even worse.…” – https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/it-is-far-too-early-for-democrats-to-panic-over-biden/2020/05/15/f2f1a656-96d2-11ea-9f5e-56d8239bf9ad_story.html

The real reason Trump can’t wear a mask is that it would smear his orange-colored artificial face.
The only “mask” Trump uses is the one to disguise the truth and the facts behind a mask of lies.
That and the mask, as shown in the ’toon, that covers up his record of failure and the skeletons in his closets.

Tic Tacs™ Too – {3 beats/line}
A covid-type mask won’t do; -
- his putrid breath we still smell.
He needs some Tic Tacs™ too,
and Listerine™ as well.
And don’t let the trash accrue; -- its stench is hard to quell.

“Delusion Denouement”
The Republican slaughter booths for ethics and truths
Process cheap red meat for millions of faithful followers
It’s shipped out to Fox News and other Conservative spews
Wherever there’s a market for eager swallowers.
.
The smell from the waste puts forth a stench you can taste
And the sight’s such a spectacular horrendous wonder..
The landfill is large but can’t hold all the gar-barge,
And so it fills right up to the top and far yonder
.
To wear masks does small good, as the whole neighborhood
Is filled with the smell in all buildings and every back street.
Most are long resigned, and resent their country’s maligned,
So they ignore the bad smell and are convinced it is sweet.
.
Oh, so foolish and bland not to see where they’ll all land
When it comes time for them line up in the chute.
Then between the two walls they hear the wranglers’ call,
And know they’re just livestock, their lives done and moot.
.
The Very Rich will attend fetes where served are those meats,
Far away from the stress of the slaughterhouse terrors.
And perhaps they will laugh as how the stock felt the gaff
And in last moments realized their dumb election errors.

Rebutting Folks who Sass Biden – {1.60 limericks}
Biden is MUCH less defective
and is able to be a corrective
when replacing the current
prez who’s so errant. -
- Joe has better perspective
than that of Trump
{whose mind’s in a slump},
and Joe will be MUCH more effective.
… PS: – {3 beats/line}
By far I prefer The Bern
and Biden’s faults give me pause, -
- but The Donald I vigorously spurn
because of his monstrous flaws.

A Lesson from the Old Testament – {4 beats/line}
God sends a miscreant king to chasten
a deplorable culture in a fatcat-raped nation, -
- but the people repent and pray God to hasten
the kingship’s cessation // { by his abdication
or compulsory vacation // or his tenure’s truncation },
to relieve the king-led degradation.
