That’s their business model.
your parents will beg to differ, Calvin
I wonder how many people have no idea what Calvin just did to the TV
What could be on tv on a Monday that’s good?
giggles Zombie consumer in training!
Must be cartoon time. :)
Sure, kid.
And Calvin (like most people) that that television panders to them. Little do they realize…
You’ve just switched on Pandora’s box, Calvin.
You’ve got it backwards, Calvin. The TV is the master and you are the servant that obediently comes running at it’s every command!
Calvin doesn’t care as long it’s own.
It has to warm up a bit before it can start bouncing.
Calvin is crazy in a funny way
If you can vote I can think of some politicians who would sell their souls (and our country’s) to pander to you!
And pander it will.
And here I thought pander was a black and white Chinese bear.
If my TV could pander to me, it would be full of good-looking men who cook comfort food and decorate quaint cottages, and basically the entire catalog of BritBox.
TV is truly satisfying if your expectations are only high enough to appreciate the lowest common denominator.
Calvin’s only problem is he is too smart for a kid his age. You can tell by his vocabulary and problem solving skills.
30 years on and this comic has aged frighteningly well.
The NASCAR race at Bristol.
One demand from viewers that the networks never ignore.
Before the time of cable news…
TV’s a little dated, Calvin! grin Of course it’s an old strip.
FYI, “pander to me” is an anagram of “parent mode”. Make your own conclusions.
