Y didn’t he steer around it?

Well. He was “warned.”

Why… Y, Why?

When he came to a fork in the road he took it.

That must have been one heck of a jolt !

I don’t know what his problem was; the sign couldn’t be clearer!

So much for dropping in at the “Y”.

Can’t say he wasn’t warned.

Should have taken a left turn…at Albuquerque!

He WAS warned !

Even today, people do not observe/obey signs along the road: “Don’t Text & Drive” .. or “Bridge may have ice on it” .. or “Slower traffic must use right lane” …

Asleep at the wheel.

This has such a classic roadrunner feel to it. Love it

Now that’s more like it! That’s more like the sense of humor of the old strip. Satire, surrealism, and just a touch of pathos.

He was warned …

It was a split decision. And a split-second one, too.

I took the one less traveled by.

The fork in the road definitely was “in” the road! ;-o

If you don’t take the fork in the road, it will take you!
