Oh, how I wish I could do this with you, Garfield!

I wouldn’t want to stay in bed with a teddy bear.

But I wouldn’t mind staying in bed with my wife as long as she was bare or wearing a teddy.

You stay in bed Garfield .. I’ll soon be headed out to the local YMCA to put in 20+ miles on an ‘Expresso’ exercise bike. For the month of Feb., Expresso is giving the YMCA $0.10 per mile that people ride on their bikes. I have over 100 miles so far this month.

An old song says “Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.” Where I live, it’s both today. Great idea, Garfield.

It’s not like this fat lazy cat actually goes to work or anything? Why does he hate Mondays? I’m amazed he can even tell it’s Monday!

Been a while since we last saw Pookie.

A hard, steady rain out there today. I would love to just stay in but I have stuff I’ve got to get done.

My Monday started with a knock on my door at 07:20 … a neighbor apologized for disturbing me, but pointed out water by my curb was gushing into the street. OY! I called the emergency water number – after ensuring I had water for coffee. OKC water department arrived 30 minutes later, marked off buried lines; the actual crew to repair the broken pipe arrived a little after 09:00. The hole is dug now and there is a huge mound of dirt in the street. The only blessing is the pipe is in the appeasement – OKC will cover the cost of repair, a temporary driveway, and replacement of sod and concrete drive.

That is why this retiree hates Mondays! :-)

I used to like Mondays, that is because that was my day off.

Garfield good idea me and my big bear, Ben (good sized) will go back to bed now….
