Nancy is sick ; where is Luann?

That is exactly like my wife and I last weekend – now go make her some nice soup, just like I did for mine. That is, after she uses the bathroom…

Get her a catheter. Problem solved.

GET YOUR FLU SHOT! It’s not too late. The last time I had the flu I seriously thought I was gonna die. Never again! I get my shot in September.

It’s like Calvin getting all bundled up to go out in the snow…

When I have some sort of upper respiratory virus it is far easier for me to sleep in a recliner, slightly upright. I take the flu shot each year, but sometimes something nasty still gets through. My cats love it as they pile on me and my heating pad and they know I am going to be reclined for about sixteen to eighteen hours of the day.

Unless they just arrived from Wuhan, China!!

Coronavirus.

Poor Nancy, but Frank is so sweet and careful with her. What a Beautiful couple ♡.

All those TV westerns, someone laid up for weeks, passed out with an illness and some woman would be taking care of them when they awoke all comfy their sick bed. They never explained how that person went to the bathroom.

Every time.

I remember a funny get well card featuring that poor little cartoon character “Ziggy.” The front of the card was something like: “I’m sorry you’re sick. Getting sick is no fun. I ought to know because (open the card) I had fun once.”

My sister and her kids ALWAYS get the flu shot and she and her son have gotten the flu at least twice the last couple of years. A lesser case, but still the flu.

I’m confused. All the TV commercials for colds and flu turn Dad into a whiny incapacitated baby. Yet here in Bizzaro Dimension #pi I see caring functional Dad. What wormhole have I passed through?? [loopy theramin music]

Now where’s that bed pan?

My wife spent much of yesterday sleeping on the floor in the bathroom. Unless there’s a 12-hour flu, it was probably food poisoning.

I haven’t been sick in the past year.

“Alright dear, I’ll get the bedpan…”

Most effective way to avoid contracting the ’flu and any other virus:

Wash your hands.Keep your hands away from your face.Avoid sick people.

OMG! Never have I witnessed such a thing. (I’m not going to explain what I mean.)

I didn’t know Luann’s mother did a trip to China.

Sunday foible, sorry BJ. Seriously, my doctor has convinced my wife and to take our flu shots and while she has had a little more issue than I have, neither of us has had a serious flu for years. I have to admit having some foreboding when these new viruses find their way from Asia or Africa, but as a global community we have to be prepared to deal with them. I know when I get the flu I am a big baby too, but I get my big booty up to crawl to the bathroom which in our townhouse is not too far away from our master bedroom. (lol).

My mom is like that. We have to help her around now, so after a few min getting her in her chair/bed or couch, she is sorry but has to go to the bathroom. I guess it’s all the moving and getting up and down that does it. She turns 97 tomorrow. Happy Birthday mom

This is silly. Everyone knows that cartoon characters don’t get the flu. They get paper cuts and take ink blot tests, but not the flu.
