Elvis is absolutely correct. The Baby is a Scientist, testing a hypothesis – all options must be considered, tested, evaluated. The remote is probably not edible, but it might be, and what a breakthrough that would be!

Carl Sagan once said something along the lines of that all children are scientists, and then growing up squashes it out of them, and the fortunate few get through with their senses of wonder and curiosity intact. If he were here (much missed!) I believe he would say now…go, Baby, go!

Happy New Year to everyone. So are you resolution makers or not. I am not really, I may make some generic one about being the person God created me to be. This year though I think it will be to give a loving home to a couple of cats looking for love. My house is empty without a cat and the only one to talk to is myself.

OMG, it’s my Daughter 2 in comic form . I expect the human hurricane will keep the good boys well entertained. It’s time for me to thank daughter 1 and son 3 for being such good babies and adults. Daughter 2 will be 34 this month, and she’s still a much loved but unpredictable character.

I once saw a child that age try to run under a table and knocked himself down. Fortunately, kids bounce. You have to watch them…every…single…minute. Delegating to cats is not a viable option.
