Back in the 1980s I had a pineapple and prawn pizza in Australia, since then I haven’t been able to avoid gagging whenever someone mentions pineapple on a pizza.
At first I took it that they were all pie slices because you can’t see any toppings and it looks like crust on both sides of each slice with a filling in between. And so I thought; OK – I guess there is no such thing as a pineapple pie…
