The teachers did this at one of the high schools in 2018 to help memorialize the 100th year of WWI. I think it should be done every year.
The Loa are Hawaiian spirits, I think.
I got lucky. My high school (1972-73) would allow them, if they looked like a skirt front and back. I sewed my own stuff back then.
I cried on the way home!
I always thought she was a little blurry eyed and had gotten the idea Peppermint Patty was a boy by her behavior, then later she just kept on as she started.
I at least try to get it right, and do read it over at least once Before I hit “enter”. That’s what drives me nuts. They don’t even bother to read it before they totally blow a word!
The worst test you can give me is a multiple choice spelling test! I tested in the high 90’s for vocabulary and reading comprehension, but could not make better than 25% on the spelling section (back in the late 1960’s and early ’70’s, and once in the early 2000’s for a job). I made more A/F English papers from trying to define my way around a word I wanted to use, but could not be sure of spelling right! I still keep a small dictionary in front of me to look up words as I am writing even now, even if I looked at or spelled them recently. I always considered that misspelling by Quayle a minor mistake and wished people would drop it!
Or surrounding him?
I like it, and I think others do too.
Some are beautiful.
