He’s gonna need one to cut the tree up anyway. But even I’ll admit to pulling a tree over just because I can.

Why buy an axe or use an Ox, you have Grog. This is a massive failure on your part for not using available resources.

For whatever it’s worth, that’s not an ox, it’s a buffalo.

Traveling salesman sees this lumberjack chopping down trees and asks him how many he chops down in a day. The lumberjack tells him about five a day. The salesman shows him a chainsaw and explains that with one of these he can cut down five an hour! The lumberjack is impressed and buys one. A couple weeks later the salesman goes back to see how he’s is doing. The lumberjack is fuming. The salesman asks him what’s the matter. The lumberjack complains that since he bought that confounded chainsaw he’s only cut down five trees in two weeks! The salesman asks him to see the chainsaw. VROOOOM. The lumberjack looks at him…What’s that noise!

Has iron be invented yet? Besides, axing a tree, especially one as large as this one, is very hard work. Besides, now he has the ox tethered up to pull away the trash.

With the axe you still have the stump, and suckers every spring for years. This way you avoid those problems.
