Ermentrude has a rule about this house: A place for everything, and everything in this place! Dory and Fido didn’t understand this when they came into this family, but they’ve learned to cope.
It’s a small spot, but Dori makes the most of it. He actually seems gleeful, so he must have had a good day. Doris will hear about it after Dori has reached a point of calm.
That’s a lovely Madame Deuxcouleur you have there, folks. From the Sahara desert series?
Looks to me, that someone got something caught in his zipper. Which means, that isn’t glee being expressed. Not by a long shot. Or short shot (as the case may be).
Another poorly thought-out decision. If he had taped off his spot to include the door frame, he could have worked out his issues and scratched his back at the same time. Oh, well, hindsight is 20-20.

Are you sure he isn’t doing some 60’s dances?

And I see that his spot is adjacent to Fido’s food dish. That way Fido can celebrate, commiserate, or just chow down, as he (Fido) deems appropriate.

Perhaps today will be the day, Dory. You’ll finally release all the anger at your mother for giving you that name.

Dory should probably go down the page and borrow Rose Gumbo’s Let Things Be Tree.
