Can any of you remember how old the Thorp kids were when they “disappeared mysteriously from Milford and memory”? Is this kid one of them grown up and getting back at his father for doing whatever was done to him and his sister (right? there was a sister too wasn’t there?)

Vito from Goshen has moved his man in to start getting this Thorp has-been to start paying attention to the spread. With legalized betting in the future, Vito wants betting kiosks in the bleachers, and this Thorp guy all-of-a-sudden wants a piece of the action. Says he has some burly backup.

12/26/18- The Milford Kettleheads take a roadie to face the Mad Hatters of Danbury coached by Les Miles.

Are people not reading the comments here before asking “is this strip over?” Well, obviously not, and they won’t read this either. Multiple people have mentioned it’s being updated on other sites. This has happened before on GoComics, where a strip isn’t updated for a while, then resumes. Don’t remember if it’s happened to this one or not before.

What has happened to the Gil Thorp strip? It has been stuck at 12/22 since, well, 12/22. The current strip is available on other sites, but I do prefer to read all my strips on GoComics. Please help!

A whole week without a new strip?

I think I am stuck in a vicious time loop, like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day… Every morning I get up, and as is my usual routine I open the laptop and go directly to GoComics and Gil Thorp. But, for the last week, every morning and Gil Thorp strip has started exactly the same. HELP !!!

Ha. Go Comics thinks that they can stop us from making smart a$$ comments about GT but we will just keep commenting anyway, even if it is the same strip every day

On the plus side, this strip will take the lead for the most Gil Thorp comments ever. Surpassing the miraculous State Championship one. Which I have not gone back to find, but I know it had a ton of comments.

NOW I’m worried, fellas….this is a conspiracy against the snarkers, I say R & W engineered it!

12/29/18- Where is the 3 point line? The ants traveled with The Fighting GilPa’s, covering the walls of Danbury Hall and the ball, thus affecting the desperation heave by Danbury. The 1 and 1 Mudlarks ascend to mediocrity.

Hey, has anyone else noticed that there have been no new strips posted here in an entire week? Have you? Have you, huh? I’m the first to notice this, right?

I think this started with the slogan on the billboard, asking whether mediocre was good enough. That got the GoComics staff to thinking, “Yeah, why should we bother refreshing this strip on a daily basis? Let’s just leave dull enough alone.”

Is Gil Thorp over? no update since before Christmas

01/03/19 P1: Not a ringing endorsement of the “State Champion Gil Thorp” mugs when the graphic has been washed off after four years of use.

I sent GoComics a message about the lack of Gil Thorp updates, but here we are. Clearly my word has as much of an impact at GoComics Headquarters as it does at my house.
