For help on how to follow a comic title,
Where’s Linda with all this going on? She appears to have ceded team leadership to Molly. There’s your plot.
I was wondering that, too. It would help if they said something like “Three weeks later, after Milford handles Platteview.” We never get any sense of how far into a season they are.
My daughter does some knitting, and it’s not a fast process. To knit 15 or 20 hats, even at a frantic pace, would probably take weeks.
Jocelynn is missing the next game because of a craft fair.
I bet the smell of Gil’s feet isn’t doing Mimi’s morale any good.
These kids have presumably known one another for years. Why are all these talents hidden? For example, Jamila (?) has been knitting things forever, and only now does her handiwork make its debut. When people are that enthusiastic about a hobby, they talk about it, they don’t keep it a secret.
Too bad they stink at softball. Looks like it’s official — first story in a long time that focuses on the girls’ team. Is is time to track how long Gil has been missing?
For doing my job.
Don’t watch much softball, but the field is so small and the infielders so close that I would think a two hopper is either very unlikely or, if it did happen, would be beaten out for a hit. Softball aficionados may disagree.
What coach has a player wave her off? Mimi looks like she’s pleading with the catcher.
