Just that Cthulhu and its spawn are not cephelopods and are not aquatic either. Chula-Varuna the blue, 7-tentacled One is the Hindu equivalent to him. Came down from the stars and was the ruler for awhile till the other gods tossed him into the oceans where he is trapped. But his eyes are everywhere watching, waiting for the Stars Are Right to either leave this rock or rule over it.
