Plan A.1 – go to a mediocre school, manage to graduate, work in a dead-end middle management job all your life and hope you have enough at the end to afford a certified nursing home.
Those are legitimate concerns of Moms. Some of us get those smart mouth replies caused by one of those bad genes coming direct from dear old Dad. Even when no longer in this world if you get a sharp stab of pain, maybe gas, that’ll be us telling you to stand up straight, don’t wear that loser outfit and that’s enough beer for you. Rat and Pastis were fortunate enough to have those kind of Moms and deep down they know.
Yeah, “Go to a good school” and end up with crippling student debt which negates the effect of Part Two of Plan A and so precludes part three of Plan A.
Graduate from high school. Learn to do something that makes you money so you can support yourself. Doesn’t have to be a fancy college. Just do a job where you can grow. Save as much as you can. Do all this before you even think about having children and I guarantee any parent will be proud! Even Pig’s mom.

I’m too old for a Plan B. Luckily for me, my Plan A, timing, and luck all worked out well.

That was my plan F—-but it’s the only one that worked!

You can’t launch your kids. They have to do it themselves. Sometimes though, it’s hard to watch.

Being backwards, I did plan B first then later did Plan A.

Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.00, forget the low hanging fruit, go directly to plan “B”.

Get born, keep warm
Short pants, romance, learn to dance
Get dressed, get blessed, try to be a success
Please her, please him, buy gifts
Don’t steal, don’t lift
Twenty years of schoolin’ and they put you on the day shift.

No mom likes that Plan B, Pig. You’ve gotta keep it all positive with the momster! She needs to be proud of her boy!
