Tailored. That’s a good word for today’s blue propaganda. Sometimes red too.

Journalism began its slide into the sad laughable state that now exists the first time some idiot reporter asked “How do you feel?” instead of who, what, when, where, and how.

And those two are married! But I like it now. Before, when we all got our news from one source, we were all subject to the biases of that one source. The news, in many cases, tailored their stories to fit agendas to an unsuspecting public. With people being able to get stories from all over, it is harder for the media to control public opinion. They don’t like that too much. It’s just that with a larger ability to communicate, there’s a more visible division. And, yes, there is still group think, confirmation biased articles, etc. and a propensity for some people to ignore facts in favor of their own bias. (Just look at how many people believe global warming is A) caused by humans, B) is the world’s biggest threat, and C) that taxing people and businesses will actually solve the problem.

So, the proposed solution is to suppress anything that runs contrary to what the New York Times wishes us to believe? Sorry, but that cure is worse than the disease.

    Well said, MACHTYN.

If I am correct, at one time nearly 100% of the world’s scientists thought that Newtonian physics explained the universe, with one notable exception. Dr. Einstein proved them all wrong. “97% of the world’s scientists” may indeed be wrong. Global warming is measurable and appears to be a fact, but using it as an excuse for taxing people and businesses does seem to be a tad off track.

Then stand and converse with the talking Pig and Goat.
