It is easy to tell that Team Tracy loves what they do. Hopefully, there will be many more years of their DICK TRACY, and many more awards!

Honeymoon is lucky to have Mysta, but Mysta is lucky to have Honeymoon, too. They stick up for each other. Mysta has a purpose in life. She is more than just a by-product.

Congratulations again to everyone on Team Tracy for the third Harvey Award in three years. The great work of this strip richly deserved it.

Wonderful writing, touching scene between Mysta & Honeymoon. Hopefully, Mysta will come to know that Bribery is just a real con and perhaps discover talents that Bribery hasn’t counted on. (I know that’s what I was hoping for in this encounter, but there’s always next year…..)

I recognize the building to Bribery’s left. It is the Tribune Tower on Michigan Avenue, north of the river. I walked by it the other day. Now near it Bigg does flay away. Congratulations to Team Tracy for their third Harvey Award! Well earned and richly deserved.

So, the time-binding has come together, and the late BOOM was indeed the “blowing of the hatch” from some strips earlier. Mysta is more confused and embarrassed than actually hurt; perhaps Honeymoon will have something of real value to offer later on…. Good catch on Tribune Tower, Pequod. That helps pin down the locale of Ace Tower. It does appear that Mr. Bigg has escaped, for now, unless there are police aerial assets that we don’t know about. But there is still a lot of this story yet to be unravelled….

A fitting end for Bribery:The air car, owing to its age/improper maintenance, looses power and falls.Bribery drops to his death (for real, this time) down a smokestack, following the fate of his sister 49 years ago.

(Mind you I don’t WANT this to happen to my favorite Tracy villain, I just think it would be a fitting termination.)

Bribery is a bully, but we’re familiar with his ilk. At least the miscreant knows her name. I’d hate to be Bribery when again they meet. Mysta now knows of the reflective bling ring with sting. The trials of Ace Tower leave Onee-San and Imoto-Chan with an even closer bond. This duo is what great strips are made of: compelling characters with strong relationships. Willy is right about the use of the thought bubble for Mysta. This is used very sparingly, so the rare deployment of the bubble signifies an important point of inner monologue.

Well Tracy and Sam see Bribery flying off in one of their old air cars. You think Tracy will start using his again? And did Bribery leave the Gold behind or was it already transported out? You remember that strip when Annie and Honeymoon first went to the gallery and they saw Mumbles telling a truck driver loading something to be careful with that. And speaking of Mumbles, I wonder if Punjab but both him and the Munro brothers in the same bag he put the Butcher of the Balkans in?

Still hoping he gets Sam’s hat in his face and goes down.

I know she’s not to everyone’s liking, but there’s no question that Mysta is the most emotionally complex (and for me, most interesting) character in the strip.I wonder how her uncertainty will affect her relationship with Honeymoon. Maybe Honey have to mentor Mysta for a bit.

Congrats Team Tracy on the Harvey Awards!!!The strip helps me relive my earlier years reading Tract in ther NY Daily News. Would pick up the Sunday paper Sat nights at ~ 8PM for my family when they delivered the Bulldog Editions to the local candy store! Loved the full page color Dick Tracy on page 1 of the paper, and Orphan Annie on page ywo.I am now an exotic animal vet in Berkeley Ca(moved from Newark NJ in 1985), and still love those old days! Your present strip helps give me that back again!Would hang a Tracy and friends picture in my exam room and spread the good news to old and new fans/fans to be) alike!!Anyway I can purchase such!!Comics were my escase as a kid from a less than happy childhood with a drunk for a dad. He supposedly had all those air cars safely stored.Sorry, I am not a reader from that era, but I remember a ‘proper’ fan once explaining that the Air Cars marked ‘Police’ were given directly to the City Police by the Moon Governor in gratitude to Dick Tracey for some reason ‘To assist in their Police Work’.Since those specific Air Cars were never owned by nor came under the control of Diet Smith, they were not his to dispose of when he decided to ‘Destroy All Moon Technology’.Please click ‘reply’ if I haven’t got that right?____________________

I just got in from watching the lunar eclipse. It started out with the sky completely clear and a few thin clouds started to cross the moon as it became totally eclipsed, but the heavy cloud cover held off until right around the peak of the eclipse, so I’m happy.
